The plan includes the construction of a Hospital for Works of “Art”, a true recovery center for works damaged by catastrophic events.
The spaces of theHospital for Works of “Art” will be designated as technical rooms specific to the type of work and/or artifact, each equipped with appropriate tools for the conservation, cataloging, archiving, and restoration of the works:
Once the demolition of the decommissioned works is completed, we prepare the area to undergo the necessary excavations to accommodate foundations and utilities.
After completing the demolition of the decommissioned structures, we are preparing the area for the excavation work required to accommodate foundations and underground utilities.
The construction site has taken a significant step forward with the completion of the reinforced concrete works for the foundations of the new building that will house New Recovery Art. The works included the completion of the concrete pouring and the subsequent filling of the excavations, allowing the structural footprint of the new building to be defined.
At the same time, the reinforced concrete works for the two stairwells and lift shafts are nearing completion. These are fundamental structural elements that will soon allow the assembly of the prefabricated structures envisaged in the project to begin.
The Recovery Art Spaces construction site reaches an important milestone at the end of March 2026: the prefabricated reinforced concrete structure has been completed, now fully defining the volume of the new building on all facades.
Over the next month and a half, the installation of the steel roof structures is planned, alongside the construction of the internal partition walls. This will be followed by the flooring works, enabling the start of electrical and mechanical systems installation by mid-May.
